Komplex De Deep return to celebrate our second anniversary in style. The first two years have not been about releasing each and every month, simply to feed the masses. No. KDD has always been about releasing the very best in deep, sometimes jazzy, sometimes techy, yet always quality electronic music. We have already seen the likes of Chymera, Francois Dubois, Greg Oreck, Matthias Vogt and Aubrey already grace our releases and we are currently still riding the fantastic wave of support for M A N I K's 'Makemake' EP (released last week!).

So to our latest release, and we find our label chief, Master-H stepping up and not for the first time, raising an already high bar, once again skyward. 'Stabs Call' sees H team up with the wonderfully talented Saxophonist, Geoffrey Secco. Not only does Geoffrey play regularly with the legendary Tito Puente, but he has now joined H is their own band... more on that, very soon.

'Stabs Call' opens with a piercing Detroit synth stab riff, which are soon joined by the contrastingly smooth as silk tones of Secco's Sax. A warm. mood-moving bassline shows itself as the drums drop and we are swept away on an old-school wave. A rhodes-lead break and before we finish the most delightful of woodwind drops that has us dreaming of Jeannie, before once again Detroit sweeps in.

Munich based producer-extraordinaire Christian Prommer has, since the very first Komplex De Deep release, been one of our most enthusiastic fans, and for some time we have tried to work with him on a project. 'Stabs Call' finally sees us realize that dream. Whether as a member of Voom:Voom, Fauna Flash and Truby Trio, or as the creative force behind his very own incredible Drumlesson project, Prommer through his combining of both the organic and electronic realms of music is already, and quite rightly considered to be one of the finest producers of our time.

Today Christian delivers not one, but three mixes of 'Stabs Call'. A 'Main', 'Jam' and 'Dub'. All of which are backed Master-H's very own 'Dub' and 'Detroit Vision' mixes. Overall, another outstanding package and a release that is set to command the floors for some time to come.... and with it being a very special, 10th release, 'Stabs Call' will also be available on Vinyl!
